Plants have male and female



In the field of ‘Botany’, we have come to know recently, that even the plants have got sexes - male and female - previously we did not know that. Even the Unisexual plant has got distinct characteristic of male and female. The Qur'an says in Surah Ta Ha, Ch. No. 20, Verse No 53… ‘It is Allah who sends down water from the sky and causes diverse pairs of plants to grow, each separate from the other’. That means, the plants have got sexes - Male and Female.



Fruits have male and female



The Qur'an says in Surah Rad, Ch. No. 13, Verse No 3… ‘We have created every kind of fruit, in pairs two and two’. Even the fruit has have got sexes - Male and Female.



Everything made in pairs



“And of everything We have created pairs.” [Al-Qur’an 51:49] This verse lays emphasis on everything. Besides humans, animals, plants and fruits, it may also be referring to electricity in which the atoms consist of negatively – and positively – charged electrons and protons. And many more things! “Glory to Allah, Whocreated in pairs all things that theearth produces, as well as their own(human) kind and (other) things of whichthey have no knowledge.”[Al-Qur’an 36:36] The Qur’an here says that everything is created inpairs, including things that the humans do not know at present and may discover later.



THE FIG A FRUIT WHOSE PERFECTIONHAS ONLY RECENTLY BEEN REVEALED



[I swear] by the fig and the olive. (Qur'an, 95:1). The reference to the fig in the first verse of Surat at-Tin is a most wise one in terms of the benefits imparted by this fruit.
